Acupuncture

Acupuncture

Acupuncture consists of very thin needles being inserted through the skin at strategic points in order to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, the McQuoid’s are licensed through the Acupuncture Council of Ontario to use this technique to treat pain and a broad spectrum of mechanical disorders. Their training satisfies the World Health Organization’s requirements for acupuncture treatment.  The McQuoids have received acupuncture training at McMaster University and through the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
