Theralase
Theralase lasers provide the treatment area with billions of photons of light at very specific wavelengths. This laser light is then absorbed on a cellular level and is energetically transformed into chemical energy and subsequently used to repair damaged tissues. Theralase lasers accelerate healing by increasing ATP production, reduce inflammation by increasing nitric oxide levels, and eliminates pain by activating the lipid absorption pathway and rebalancing the Na+/K+ pumps, thus eliminating pain signals at the source. In total, Theralase lasers enable rapid cell growth, faster wound healing, increased metabolic activity, and increased vascular activity. Theralase treatment also stimulates nerve function, while simultaneously reducing inflammation and fibrous tissue formation.
Theralase uses two wavelengths to stimulate three important cellular pathways:
660 nm: stimulates the Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) Pathway
905 nm: stimulates the nitric oxide pathway, increasing nitric oxide levels by 700%
905 nm: stimulates the lipid absorption pathway
